The Role | Mō tēnei tūranga mahi

This is a 32 hours per week role working Sunday to Wednesday (Sun-Mon 7:00am-3:30pm, Tue-Wed 3:00pm-11:30pm) based at our Hunter Street residential site in Hamilton.

In this role you:

  • Will be busy supporting people with budgeting and independent daily living skills
  • Will attend appointments and advocate for tangata whai ora
  • Might be assisting people to connect with their communities
  • Will be prepared to do whatever it takes for the people we support – cleaning, cooking, gardening, personal care or helping out with everyday tasks.

You | Mōu

  • Applicants must hold the Level 4 in Mental Health and Wellbeing Certificate or equivalent or be working towards an equivalent or be prepared to undertake study.
  • You must hold a current full New Zealand driver’s licence.
  • You must hold a current first aid certificate or be willing to obtain one.
  • Knowledge of, and demonstrable commitment to, the principles of the Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
