Salary: $126,124 - $138,057 PSA based on skills and experience

Are you looking for a challenge or the next step in your clinical career pathway? There is an opportunity to work in partnership with multidisciplinary teams and fellow Team Leaders within the Central Region Forensics Inpatient and Rehabilitation Mental Health services. We are looking for someone who is able to deliver an effective and efficient service that facilitates clinical cultural excellence with desired health outcomes.
Mō tō mātou rōpū – About our team
The Rehabilitation and Extended Care inpatient service provides both longer-term care (Tawhirimatea Unit) and Intensive Rehabilitation (Tane Mahuta) within both secure and open settings. The Rehabilitation Inpatient service also provides step-down Forensic minimum secure beds in Tawhirimatea and Tane Mahuta. The service has 65 inpatient beds in total, some of which are in purpose built cottages ranging from 1 to 5 bedrooms. The service's focus is on recovery and rehabilitation through providing people with the opportunity to learn new skills, as well as gain independence and empowerment for community living.
Moū – About you
We are seeking an experienced, motivated, resourceful person who has held a senior role of this nature in the health sector, preferably in the Mental Health sector. Must also have extensive knowledge and perspective of mental health, addictions and/or intellectual disability service delivery. The candidate must also have a relevant tertiary level business qualification and a clinical discipline which is desirable.
